Decades after the end of humanity the Road Eater is the only god of mankind that remains. Their one purpose of reducing all manmade objects to dirt consumes their existence–until they come across an ailing kitten. After resolving to raise the cat, the Road Eater finds purpose beyond their life of decay. The Road Eater is a post-apocalyptic fable about cherishing what cannot last forever.
